A professional artist, Ann creates large architectural sculpture, small works and drawings. A recipient of numerous awards including two fellowships from the New York Foundation for the Arts, she has exhibited her work in museums and galleries throughout the United States. In addition to creating large-scale installations, she writes and illustrates picture books.  

Ann received her BFA from the Rhode Island School of Design and her MFA from the University of Colorado, Boulder. She taught sculpture and drawing as an Artist in Residence at Brandeis University and as a Visiting Assistant Professor at Hamilton College. She currently teaches art on a freelance basis to young children.  Ann was elected in 2015 to the Ithaca City School District Board of Education.
