Ann Elise Reichlin is a professional artist whose sculptures are sometimes as big as houses. A recipient of numerous awards including two fellowships from the New York Foundation for the Arts, she has exhibited her work in museums and galleries throughout the United States. When she’s not working on large installations, she works on her other passion: picture books.

Reichlin has taught sculpture and drawing to all ages from college students at Brandeis University, Hamilton College, Cornell University, and Hobart and William Smith Colleges to kindergartners and first graders at Caroline Elementary School as part of her multi-week workshops, Make Way for Play. She is currently collaborating on a pilot intiative in the elementary school, Art Discovery Boxes, which focus on art process, material and discovery. Reichlin served on the Ithaca City School District Board of Education from 2015-2021.

Ann Elise Reichlin lives in Ithaca, New York with her husband and dog, Ollie. Her daughter and son are enjoying adventures after college. Housecleaning is one of her least favorite activities.
